Not long after completing Toowoon Bay Renovation, Kyal and Kara began the search for their next project. They found a little gem in the neighbouring suburb of Long Jetty that was full of untapped potential. Using only Taubmans paints inside and out, they used Palm Springs as the inspiration for their palette and completely reinvented the entire property. It’s safe to say they outdid themselves:  the results of their reno are gob-smacking!

The exterior

To bring a springtime freshness to the exterior, they went with Barely Beige for the weatherboards and a Brilliant White for the exterior trims. Bright and timeless, it lent an atmosphere of light and airy whimsy while delivering a classical and stylish look.

The living areas

The living room is where the residents would be spending most of their time, so it was important that the space could support this hub of family activity with the right kind of atmosphere. The Media Room was done up in Whites and Olives, while the living room, dining room and hallway were dressed up in timeless shades of white to balance the wood flooring and make the space feel open and inviting.

The kitchen

Continuing the theme of the living areas, the kitchen segues into a beautiful white and wood combo, which makes the best use of the natural light-filled space and works nicely with the classic aesthetic of the property.

The bedrooms

While the master bedroom uses Cotton Sheets white to create a comforting and relaxing abode, the other bedrooms use white walls with Snow Olive and Sisal Rope panelling to break the monotony and make a subtle style statement that complements the design of the property as a whole.

The bathrooms

The master bathroom, powder room and laundry room are done in immaculate white, complementing the gleaming fixtures and bringing an air of effortless sophistication and elegance.
