What is The Design Collective?
The Design Collective is a gathering of leading Australian manufacturers in home interior design, the initiative’s objective is to create aspirational home designs that bring together colours and finishes that align seamlessly with the aim to bring a more holistic approach in design
Taubmans worked with Kaolin Surfaces and Blend Concrete Design to create a range of colour schemes to work with their tile and concrete furniture surfaces.
Casabela Interiors and Sam Alawi from Zane Carter Architects then brought the schemes to life in two aspirational home designs which created a canvas to showcase how the colour and textures worked together.
Power of Colour in Transforming Spaces
Since colour is a key part of design, Taubmans curated a variety of colours to infuse into the collaboration from the 2025 Home Colour Trends collection.
“The Taubmans 2025 Colour Trends were a launchpad to support the development of colour schemes which paired perfectly with Kaolin and Blend products, whilst giving Sam and the Casabela Interiors team a range of schemes they could draw on to create aspirational design ideas to inspire and generate conversations in the industry and amongst all those who have an interest in design, from the architect to the homeowner.” Said Colour Specialist Fiona Dawson.
