Immerse yourself in Molto Bello: Icons of Modern Italian Design, a vibrant exploration of Italy’s most significant design achievements from the 1930s to the 1980s. Presented at Heide Museum of Modern Art, designed by Studio Peter King and curated by Kendrah Morgan and Laura Lantieri, this exhibition brings to life the story of Italian ingenuity, blending rich craft traditions with industrial advances and artistic experimentation. As the official colour partner, Taubmans has played a key role in creating the exhibition’s stunning visual impact, with carefully selected paint colours enhancing the beauty of iconic objects such as the Olivetti Valentine typewriter, classic chairs, lamps, homewares, and the Vespa.

The exhibition celebrates the pioneers who shaped modern Italian design, including Gio Ponti, Carlo Mollino, Gae Aulenti, Joe Colombo, and the Castiglioni brothers. Their creations, paired with Taubmans' curated palette, highlight the elegance, innovation, and dynamism of Italian design. The bold vision of movements like Radical Design and Memphis Milano is also on display, with works by Ettore Sottsass, Nanda Vigo, and Gaetano Pesce redefining global design aesthetics.
